This is just a tutorial on how to change and create custom backgrounds for your Youtube Channel. Please increase the volume if you can't hear.... recommended prerequisites: Google Chrome (really easy to instsall) "Basic Knowledge" on how to work around editing your Youtube channel A decent image editing programming (maybe better than paint) EXTENSION (INSTALL IT HERE): chrome.google.com REMEMBER, the quality of how your work turns out is only as good as how much effort you put into it Written Directions: 1) Capture a screenshot of you Youtube Channel with an in-browser screen capturer or use the extension for Google Chrome Browsers (tip. it is recommended that you have a blank/plain background before you start) 2) Edit your background using the template you have captured with a image editing software (or have someone else do it for you, when using pictures, make sure it's royalty free) 3) Save as a .jpeg (try not to exceed 256k) 4) Upload and save your background through the Youtube Channel Editor -------------- The program I used to edit my image is called "Photo Filter" and the program I used to screen record and edit the video was Camtasia 6 (I thought using Adobe After Effects/Premier would be over-doing it, and I shot/edited this video in less than a hour) I also stuttered a lot because I was "winging it" with what I was going to say |
